Snow on the hills

This acrylic and mixed media original painting on wooden panel, is set within a white wood St Ives frame of 24x24x2.5cm.  Muted blues and earthy warm tones are mixed with loose expressive mark making, depicted far off hills with a dusting of snow. Inspired by the Cheviot hills that sit at the Northumberland and Scottish Borders.
